Today students made various polygons using geoboards then sketched and sorted their 2D shapes.
Success Criteria to meet my goal: -I have thought about what a polygon is. -I can identify the polygon (e.g. triangles, quadrilaterals, pentagons, hexagons, heptagons, octagons). -I can sort the polygons by the number of sides. -I can sort the polygons by the number of vertices. -I can draw a polygon (using a geoboard). |
