Coding with Scratch

This week students were coding with the programming language Scratch. Earlier this year, students explored the block coding capabilities of the Scratch language. This week students used activity cards to help build their programming and coding skills. Many of the activities reflect our geometry unit (for example, coding different types of angles).

In this activity, students coded the mouse to move and turn in right angles. Here is a link to the rest of the activity cards (if students would like to explore them at home).
