Interactive Patterning Lesson Using Knowledge Hook

Knowledge Hook is a great tool that allows students to work on math questions on their iPads.

First students logged into our Knowledge Hook room. Then I loaded a question on everyone's iPad. Students figure out the solution to the question and pressed the submit button. Students had the option to upload a picture of their work by using the camera on the iPad (for example if they needed a whiteboard and marker to help solve the question). Finally, Knowledge Hook displayed the correct answer on the projector and the percentage of correct answers submitted. If everybody got the question correct, we simply moved on. If it is a question students struggled with, then we spend more time looking at the math behind the answer.

Today we used Knowledge Hook to answer questions about repeating patterns and their attributes.
