Ice Safety Stop Motion Videos

Today students made stop motion videos using iPads and whiteboards. Their goal was to make stop motion videos that included a message about ice safety. The task was facilitated through Google Classroom.

First, students logged in to Google Classroom and read the task and the digital resources provided. Students watched a short video on ice safety as well as examined the article from the Lifesaving Society (we also discussed the article as a whole class).

Then students planned and made their videos using the iPad app: Stop Motion (which is free in the iTunes Store).

Finally, students reflected on how well they did with their Learning Skills during the task (we discussed these skills before they started working).
