Students have been representing numbers using a variety of tools (Gr2s to 50 and Gr3s to 100). Today we used a graph to find out what was the most popular tool used and what was the least popular tool used. I found it very interesting that students came up (on their own) with 6 different ways to represent numbers (base ten blocks, shapes, arrays, money, tally marks, number lines).
