Students Help Create Bump It Up Wall

Students have been planning and writing procedures. Today, students sorted samples of procedures and labelled them as level 1,2,3 and 4. Next, students used the student generated criteria of awesome to identify what they liked about each piece of work and what the next steps would be to raise the level of the work. I posted the samples in class on our BUMP IT UP WALL which helps give students suggestions on improving their writing (and a great place to conference with students about their writing).
