Today students created stop motion films of 3D shapes being assembled from their nets..

First students were given the opportunity to explore the 2D Conexsion shapes and discover how they can be made to fit together to form 3D shapes. After making a 3D shape (such as a prism or pyramid) students unfolded the shape to examine its net.
